Erika Osterman - Veterinary Technician
Erika joined the Pawsh Veterinary Clinic team in July of 2024 as a relief technician, and it was immediately clear that she was a great fit. With several years of experience in veterinary medicine, Erika brings skill, adaptability, and genuine care to every patient she works with.
Originally from Texas, Erika moved to the Wichita area four years ago to attend Wichita State University. Her first position in the field was as a receptionist at Urgent Pet Care on the east side of Wichita, where her strong interest in animal health quickly inspired her to transition into a hands-on technician role. Her dedication and quick learning made her an accomplished technician in no time.
Erika is currently completing her degree at Wichita State, majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in American Sign Language. She plans to graduate in December 2025 and hopes to pursue a career as a strength and conditioning coach for college athletes — a goal that reflects her passion for both health and performance.
At home, Erika shares life with her energetic three-year-old Australian Shepherd, who keeps her active and constantly entertained. Pawsh is proud to have Erika as part of our team — her professionalism, compassion, and enthusiasm make her a valued member of the clinic.
“I absolutely love this vet! They are efficient while still spending plenty of time with their patients, very fairly priced, and knowledgeable about pocket pets. Everyone is so friendly too! Highly recommend!”

“My dog, Penny, needed dental services. Had four teeth pulled. Staff were kind, and explained everything to me, including telling me to call if dog seemed in pain or had any problems after. Highly recommend this clinic!”
